How we hold your money

Last updated: November 2026

In short

EasyCryptoPay holds the payments you receive until you withdraw them to your own wallet. Receiving is free; a withdrawal costs the network fee plus 0.5%.

Who holds the money

Every payment goes to a new address of its own, controlled by EasyCryptoPay. Once the network confirms it, the amount is credited to your balance, and we look after it until you withdraw it. This is a custodial service: while money is in your balance, we hold the keys to it.

How we check it is all there

Every 10 minutes, for each coin and network, we compare what our wallets hold on the blockchain with the total of all merchants’ balances. Payments still on their way and withdrawals being sent are taken into account.

How the keys are protected

The keys are never on the web servers that run this site. A separate signing service keeps them encrypted. It has no network port, so nothing can ask it to send money: it reads its own records and only signs transfers that match them and stay within its limits.

Withdrawals

You can withdraw to your own wallet at any time, on the network you choose. Each withdrawal needs a 6-digit code that we email to you, and a newly added address can only be used 24 hours later. Bulk payouts, if you switch them on, start working 24 hours after you do. A single withdrawal can be up to $2,000, and up to $10,000 can be withdrawn per 24 hours.

Fees

Receiving is free: 0% on both plans. Your customer pays the network fee of their own payment, shown at checkout. A withdrawal costs the network fee plus 0.5%, shown before you confirm it. If you choose to receive everything in USDT, your customer pays a small conversion premium, usually 1%.

If a customer pays the wrong amount

If a customer sends more than asked, pays twice, or pays in another coin that we accept, the money still reaches your balance, marked as extra. Money sent in a coin or on a network we do not accept may not be recoverable, which is why the checkout shows exactly what to send and where.
